Beginning on Friday, July 6th the Turin Airport (TRN), in Turin, Italy, will be closed due to construction. This closure will last until noon on Tuesday, July, 12th. The construction project is to repair runways, causing all flights to be diverted to either Milan's Malpensa Airport (MXP) or Turin-Cuneo Levaldigi Airport (CUF). If you were scheduled to fly into Turin during these days, contact your airline immediately for changes. This may require additional planning, such as a rental car, shuttle or extra nights at a hotel. The airport authority at TRN has set up a shuttle service between there and the alternate airports. If you choose to take the shuttle, give yourself an extra 1-2 hours to account for the added travel time.
